I'm sorry to bombard but...
I visited Auschwitz yesterday, and it seems to me that everyone with the means has a moral responsibility to go visit the camps. No matter how many books I had read or how many movies I had seen about the Holocaust, nothing compares to seeing piles of belongings or walls lined with photos of children who never had the chance to live. It’s been a whack-o week. Totally whacko. We spent from Friday to Tuesday studying the ancient ruins in Rome. We had many group dinners together which was really nice, but touring the ruins all day every day was really exhausting. Jon Stewart took to The Daily Show last night to talk about the Penn State child sexual abuse scandal, and gave a serious commentary about how people knew of Sandusky’s abuse and didn’t do anything, as well as the recent student rioting over the firing of coach Joe Paterno.

A long many weeks
Recap Seville: My favorite European city thus far. It was like everything I was expecting from Venice, plus cheap food. I saw a flamenco show, drank sangria like they were stopping production, gazpacho, tapas, took a bike ride, tapas tour with my hostel, mad crazy gelato. It was incredible and beautiful and warm. The waiters were ruder than most, but still, the city was amazing. My favorite part...

So I had a really bizarre dream
I was at James’ house but he wasn’t there. I was there for dinner but there was a sandpit in the middle of the kitchen and I kept sitting in it because there was a phone there. I kept calling my mom to tell her “his” parents were at the house too. (If you don’t know who “he” is, don’t worry about it. Basically the villain in the movie). ...
