I visited Auschwitz yesterday, and it seems to me that everyone with the means has a moral responsibility to go visit the camps. No matter how many books I had read or how many movies I had seen about the Holocaust, nothing compares to seeing piles of belongings or walls lined with photos of children who never had the chance to live. I have my own photos, I’ll be posting them. I realize it’s not quite a pick me up photo set but it’s a necessary one.
